Welcome to NT Dance House! We are a fun, inspiring, friendly and professionally run dance school for children aged 18 months- 18 years and Adults of all ages. We specialise in a range dance styles including Ballet, Modern, Tap, Street & Commercial, Acrobatics, Contemporary and more! As well as our wide range of classes we also offer optional performance, examination and competition opportunities and experiences. We are proud to have developed a friendly and welcoming environment for children and adults to learn to dance where they will feel excited, motivated and confident while discovering their love for the world of dance.

We are a family friendly dance studio with a focus on development of each student in not only their dance skills but their confidence, team work and motivation to succeed, which are all life skills we believe are important to develop. We believe all children and adults can develop from the benefits of dance and we ensure each student receives the care and attention they need to succeed by strictly limiting our class numbers. This inspires a more personalised experience and give more care and attention to development.

We keep our classes fresh with exciting new ideas and fun activities keeping up to date with all the current trends as well as nurturing the older more classical forms of dance. Our classes take place in fully equipped dance studios with professional sprung wooden flooring, Barres and mirrors to enhance each students dance experience.

We are lucky to have access to 3 beautiful dance studios that hare fully equipped with professional sprung wooden flooring, Barres and mirrors to enhance each students dance experience.

Highly qualified, passionate and friendly teachers

Natasha, the Director and Principle teacher at NT Dance House has a vast amount of teaching experience in not only the private dance sector but also in schools. She holds a BA Honours Degree in Dance and Culture, IDT and BATD dance teaching qualifications as well as her QTS qualification meaning she can teach in Primary and Secondary schools. Alongside teaching Natasha has a vast amount of performance experience in the professional dance industry.

All our teachers are highly qualified with a passion for teaching and delivering high quality classes. All our teacher hold up to date DBS certificates, first aid qualifications and insurance.

Twinklesteps and Footsteps dance programmes

We are very lucky to be delivering two wonderful dance programmes for our younger pre-school students. These classes aim to develop a child love for music and dance through imagination and play at the same time as developing their motor and social skills.

IDT syllabus training for those who want to progress through the graded exams system or more relaxed Performance Medal tests.

The IDT syllabus is something that is an optional part of our dance classes if our students want to take exams. The Graded exams are great for those who want to work on their technique and push themselves whereas our Medal tests are more relaxed and work for those who love to perform! We offer both of these exams for our child and adult students.

Complimentary Taster lessons

We believe that our Dance school needs to be the right fit for you, so we offer complimentary taster sessions for all of our classes. This way you can try everything and see what suits you best!

Performance Opportunities

We understand that people want to learn to dance for different reasons and one of those will be because they love to be on a stage or it may be they want to build up their confidence. We offer optional performance opportunities to all our students no matter their ability. These include local dance platforms, NT Dance House Showcases, Presentation evenings, Charity events, Competitions and much more!
